July 10th was the official opening of the Living Water exhibition at UNSW, celebrating 75 years of water research at the University.

I am delighted that our National Groundwater Recharge Observing System project was included in the exhibition. Photographs from myself and Wendy Timms (Deakin University) were included along with a interactive element – one of our our drip loggers that is measuring groundwater recharge around the country.

UNSW project members Andy Baker, Marilu Melo Zurita and Martin Andersen were on hand to celebrate the opening.

For more information about the exhibition, which is open to the public until November, there are details here

The National Groundwater Recharge Observing System is a collaboration between Andy, Marilu and Martin at UNSW, Margaret Shanafield (Flinders University), Wendy Timms (Deakin University) and Stacey Priestley (CSIRO) with partners in New South Wales, Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania, Queensland and Western Australia.
